This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information, and describes our text messaging program. By using Bidzeo or providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to the terms below.

1. About the text messaging program
Our text messaging program keeps you informed about your Bidzeo account and activity. By providing your phone number and opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Bidzeo related to:
- Account creation, verification, and security
- Profile updates and information requests
- Status of offers you receive through the marketplace
- Appointment confirmations and reminders
- Direct correspondence and replies from Bidzeo
- Occasional informational updates about your account or the service
The program is primarily transactional. Messages are sent in connection with your active or prospective use of Bidzeo and are not intended as general marketing solicitations.
2. Consent and opt-in
You may opt in to receive text messages from Bidzeo through any of the following methods:
- Providing your mobile number during signup or in your profile with affirmative consent
- Submitting your mobile number through a web form with an opt-in checkbox
- Verbally consenting during a recorded call with a Bidzeo representative
- Texting an opt-in keyword (such as START) to our business number
Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of creating an account, using Bidzeo, or receiving any offer, product, or service.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency may vary based on your account activity. This is a recurring messaging program with no fixed maximum number of messages per month. You should generally expect higher message volume while you are actively receiving and reviewing offers, and lower volume outside of those periods.
4. Message and data rates
You acknowledge and agree that standard message and data rates may apply, depending on your wireless carrier and plan. Bidzeo does not charge you separately for participating in this program; however, your wireless carrier may charge fees for sending or receiving SMS, MMS, or data. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
5. How to opt out
You may opt out of the text messaging program at any time by replying with any of the following keywords to any message you receive from us:
STOP · END · QUIT · CANCEL · UNSUBSCRIBE · OPT OUT
After you opt out, you will receive a one-time confirmation message and will no longer receive text messages from Bidzeo. If you wish to opt back in later, reply START to the same number to be re-enrolled. We maintain opt-out records in accordance with applicable federal and state regulations.
6. Help and support
For help with the messaging program, reply HELP to any message you receive, or contact us at support@bidzeo.com. You will receive a response that includes our identifying information, support contact details, and a reference to this policy.
7. Mobile information and third-party sharing
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All text messaging opt-in data and consent, including your mobile phone number, is kept confidential and will not be sold, rented, or shared with any third parties for their own marketing purposes under any circumstances.
We share information with subcontractors or service providers that directly support the operation of Bidzeo and its messaging program (such as our communications platform, hosting, and customer-support systems) only under confidentiality obligations and only as necessary to deliver the service you have requested. Such providers are contractually prohibited from using your information for their own marketing purposes.
Providers on the marketplace receive only the information needed to prepare an offer for you, and only when you choose to move forward. We may also disclose information when required by law, court order, subpoena, or other valid legal process, or as necessary to protect our rights or investigate suspected fraud or abuse.

In connection with your use of Bidzeo and the text messaging program, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, and mobile phone number
- Profile details you provide about what you are looking for
- Your wireless carrier (as needed for message delivery)
- The date, time, and content of messages exchanged
- Your opt-in source, timestamp, and consent record
- Your opt-out requests and the date of opt-out (retained for compliance)
- Usage and device information collected automatically as you use the site and app
9. How we use your information
We use your information solely to operate and improve Bidzeo, deliver the offers and updates you request, communicate with you, comply with applicable laws and regulations (including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and the CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices), and protect the security and integrity of our service. We do not use your information for purposes incompatible with those described here.
10. Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your choices
You can opt out of text messages at any time (see Section 5), update your profile information within the app, and contact us to request access to or deletion of your personal information, subject to applicable law and our record-retention obligations. Depending on your state of residence, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information.
12. Children’s privacy
Bidzeo is intended for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us so we can remove it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may modify this policy or the messaging program at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of Bidzeo after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
